Employer Matching Gifts

What’s better than a private gift to Canfield? A gift with even more impact! You can double or triple your gift to our organization at no extra cost to you.

You may not be aware of it, but many companies have a matching gift program. Companies will match their employees’ (and sometimes even employees’ spouses’) donations to nonprofit organizations. Ask your company if such a program exists. Many employers will accommodate your request even if they don’t normally match.

The following are some of the organizations that have provided information to numerous charities indicating that they have a formal matching gifts program. If your company is listed here (or in the longer list linked below), please contact your human resources department or supervisor to determine if Friends of Canfield is eligible to receive matching gift funds and for guidance as to processing their matching gift. If your company is not listed, PLEASE ASK if they have a matching gift program.
