After School

After school programming can be extremely valuable for many families. Canfield has the STAR program on campus 5 days a week until 6 pm daily. See below for information about STAR and some other area options.

S.T.A.R. EDUCATION

S.T.A.R. is a non-profit educational enrichment company that offers programs and specialists to enhance the regular school curriculum.  S.T.A.R. classes and activities take place on the Canfield campus before and after school or, in some instances, they are integrated into the school day curriculum. This program is an excellent choice for parents who may need extended childcare. S.T.A.R. also runs winter and summer activity camps during school breaks. For more information go to www.starinc.org, visit the STAR room #21 (room 8 for Little Dippers), or call (310) 277-3392.

ROBERTSON CENTER

This program offers after school pick up and care at Robertson Park Recreation Center. For more information call (310) 202-4565.

BEYOND THE BELL

Beyond the Bell's District funded "Youth Services" after-school program is currently in operation. Go to www.btb.lausd.net for more information. If you would like your child to participate in the Beyond the Bell program at Canfield, please see the Canfield Office to complete the paperwork and register your student.
